Re: Guardian traditional craft slideshows
I love these, but can never understand why they are hidden away in the money section.
Re: Guardian traditional craft slideshows
It does seem a bit odd doesn't it.
They are excellent though and I get itchy fingers every time I browse through one. Robin tells me that the lovely oak swill baskets in the background of one or two of the shots were made by Owen Jones* - you might have seen him making one on the Victorian Farm series (which I loved!) - I would really love to be able to afford one of his weekend courses to learn how to make them. Unfortunately I've just shelled out for a wild food instructors course so that's all my treats covered for this year!

Re: Guardian traditional craft slideshows
I have to admit that I get a bit damp whenever I see Robins work, I wish I had known about traditional crafts when I was younger and looking for my life.
And I know exactly what you mean about the itchy fingers, just looking makes me want to create.

Re: Guardian traditional craft slideshows
One of the things I am planning on putting on in Moors Wood is some traditional craft workshops from experts...
