Mastercrafts - Stained Glass Empty Mastercrafts - Stained Glass

Post by Adrian 6th March 2010, 9:57 pm

I have to say that this episode rivaled, for me, the first. Stained glass has been a love of mine since I was I child, I grew up in a house that had stained glass, I went to a public school that had it all over and sang in a priory that featured stunning work. I am, you might guess, a little bit in love with stained glass.

This weeks episode reminded me how much I love it all. I did once have the opportunity to learn, but like many things in my life, I never followed through, something that I have always regretted. S after watching this afternoon, I got online and started searching for courses in Canada, would you credit it, I live in the only province not to have craftspeople offering classes.

So shat I have learned from this series so far, is to seize the opportunities to learn new things as they present them.

Frederico Fellini said that "regrets are pointless, they are the past crippling us in the future". I agree, but I do so wish that I had learned stained glass when I had the opportunity.

If you haven't watched the current episode, do so, it is a beautiful journey.

Damn it - my magic recording box seems to not recognise the start of this or Mt Dream Farm (what has it got against Monty???) so had better seek it out on the old iPlayer...
