Whats Coming On TV This Week...11 - 17 April 2010...
Well I have offered to see if I can give a hand with this little thread, I have some ideas for bits & pieces the first I would like to introduce is this one which will restart each week running Sunday to Saturday (strange I know but thats the way I have to plan for my work).
Where I would ask anybody to put on TV programmes that they think other people may find interesting...
Just put day, time, channel, if you want you could put a brief bit about what the programe is about & whether it is a series or a one off...
For the moment can we try to keep it forum related stuff (which I know covers a multitude of sins)...

Sunday 6:15pm BBC1, Countryfile, series:
I'm sure most people know what this is about but I thought it would be a good example to start off with.

Sunday 9:00pm CH4, The Restoration Man, series 4 of 8:
I only caught the tail end of this last week but IMO it was one of the best restorations I have seen, a different one each week I don't know what the rest will be like...

Good idea for a thread - can I please make one suggestion though sparhawk please? If it's something that's then available online (e.g. through iPlayer or 4OD) that a link be put in to that after it's been on - for forgetful people like me?
Thank you!

Tuesdays on BBC2 are good (but I'm usually out so have to watch on catch up)
Coast at 7pm followed by Grow Your Own Drugs at 8pm and after that, although I've not seen it yet so can't really comment on it, there's The Delicious Miss Dahl cookery programme

If you watch TV via a Humax Freesat PVR and dish, you can now get i player via that.
Its a lot better than watching on the computer as it seems a lot faster and doesn't do the buffering and spooling you sometimes get.
This is on topic, honest

Thanks very much, although I'm not sure spring into summer with all those nice long evenings & lots of outdoorsy things going on is the right time to do telly things but hopefully we'll get into the swing of things for those "darker" nights....
Not a problem Mrs C, if people can put linkys on too for those that may have been busy remembering something else then that would be good...

Wednesday 8:00pm BBC 2, The Edible Garden, series 2 of 6:
Didn't notice this for the first programme, but might try to catch it this week, its 30 mins so I might slip it on record to watch at a more convienient time...

I've been watching the series of Country House Rescue on C4 (now finished) - really interesting: as usual with this type of programme, it's all about people and relationships really, rather than just the property
