What Courses Have You Done?
Although this may seem a strange title for a thread in the "What's On" section I thought it might be a good idea to see what other people have done & then if you are interested in something that somebody else has done you could see if it is part of the "What's Ons" in your local area.
I don't nessecarily mean the full vocational type courses, I'm thinking of the one day, two day, couple of weekend type ones, so that people can see what is out there...
If there isn't one, why not try to organise one & ask local experts/club members to pass on their knowledge? (& don't forget to add it to our calendar!)

Re: What Courses Have You Done?
I will start it off by saying
the Pond Warden course (of course ):
On the island this was a 2 day course, with refresher courses every couple of years, & takes you through everything from how to build your own wildlife pond, to reclaiming a local pond & managing it for wildlife, involving the community, health & safety (well it has to be on all courses now)...
If it is available in your area I would strongly recommend it even if you only want your own pond to ecourage wildlife to naturally manage the slugs & snails in your garden...
