My anti virus doesn't like this forum

I keep getting warnings that this is a suspicious and insecure connection when logging on to and posting another forum using Opera; Firefox doesn't seem to mind.

Very peculiar.

I'm a bit perplexed. It is supposed to be secure and encrypted - is it just when logging in, or when visiting any of the pages ?

Would you believe that the problem occurs when I click on pages where one Chilli-head has posted under his other different name. I have just been for a click around to check. The fact that my virus programme (bit defender) on Opera thinks this site is not secure is another matter. The fact that it couldn't give a toss on Firefox is another matter. I do have a problem with another forum that I log on to (and have done for more years than that) on any browser with this virus programme stating that it's not secure but you aren't on there. Honest I didn't come here to pick on you but having found out that you are the link - it gets deeper and darker. I can live with it - I think. But it seems a bit personal. And you seem so normal.

It could be that it is getting my avatar picture from somewhere not encrypted ?

Dunno. Where else do you visit that I don't know about? Or where else do you have that photo deposited. It's an interesting one - especially as it only causes hassle on one browser on one forum on pages where you post. Being a curious soul I just mention it in passing. The moral is - use Firefox. Thing is I like Opera better for some of it's ways. Oh well not to worry. If you come up with a solution hurrah. If not - use Firefox for the one forum. Whatever.
