Re: Needle Felting and Projects
I made a head and a body last night before trying to needle felt my own finger! I'll have to be careful now my own blood is on the voodoo doll
I'll take piccies later.
Here's a couple of sites I found. I got my needles and holder from a shop in Manchester. The holder will hold up to 4 needles. I just use one needle on small things and all 4 on a bigger piece. I have a foam block but I recommend putting that on a tray or something rather than straight on your lap as the needles can still go through!!!

Thanks,
He's not as cute as the original, his feet are a bit Frankenstein's monsterish, and it's not as easy as it looks.

Re: Needle Felting and Projects
I used the grey wool left over from the had I made for Mrs Rhomboid. It might have been better using roving instead. I will be having another go

Re: Needle Felting and Projects
Oh Ang,that is cracking - and in a signature colour I see
Went looking for a felting needle today - my local craft store didn't have any so will have to wait until I can drive up the valley and visit the much hated Walmart - they have a huge craft section and I'm sure the Martha Stewart crap they sell will feature felting supplies..

This is great.. thanks for the instructions.. Had the singular felting needle since the sheep and wool festival at the end of Sept and have yet to try that one yet! This is encouraging! A voodoo doll.. the kids are going to love it!

Our cats usually appropriate any Amigurami that I crochet - the house is littered with corpses of crochet bunnies..
