Anyone seen this before?

I've been a bit lax in clearing any spent foxglove flowers Embarassed and was most surprised ot this one flowering again, from above the earlier dead flower stem... Shocked

I have seen that on a few other wild flowers but not a fox glove. Could you post up a larger pic?

I have had a couple of flowering plants do that this year. Even the raspberries are having a second flush of berries..

It's so weird! I could have sworn the stem was dry, dessicated and dead. I was shaking the seeds out as I wandered past. The ones I did manage to cut down were dry as a dry thing.. nature... eh? whacky mare.. Laughing

That IS odd...

mind you am harvesting apples, a month earlier than usual. Also getting a second crop of the tayberries??? what is that all about???
