Re: whats on the menu
I like Simon Reeve. I went to see him at a local theatre, he basically presented himself - how he got to where he is, what excites him about his travels, etc etc. A very troubled start, narrowly avoided suicide, and turned out a thoroughly nice bloke (IMHO).

Re: whats on the menu
My other half read his autobiography as a result of watching him on TV, and said it was a really good read.

Another evening of one-legged curry cooking. This time Sri Lankan chicken, with home grown lemom grass again. Tonight's one legged curry was a Thai beef curry, lots of flavours in there including coriander both seed and leaf, cumin, citrus, lemon grass, lime leaves, peanut, tamarind. It has potatoes and squash in there too to save the bother of making side dishes. I do so much prefer one pot cookery.
