Thanks Billy
Hmm, think I'll take your word for that, I suppose you could rub the two wooden bits together so that they would ignite & use them to sterilise the metal bit, but then you would need something else small enough to make sure you didn't scoop out the good bit...
A pair of chop sticks perhaps, or even cocktail sticks, but nobody has suggested them yet...

Repairing the couplings on 1:12 scale railway carriages.

It's a particularly green tip. If all frontal keyhole lobotomies were carried out using recycled paperclips, just think how much metal we would save on scalpels and cranial drilling equipment and so on. Reduce reuse recycle.

If you bend one side back so the two L-shaped bits are in a straight line you could make a great see-saw for baby voles or 1:72 scale figurines.

Do you clamp them all up at once, or take them in turn?

Maybe we could use a few to attach to Queensland and squeeze out the water! Or hang it up to dry?

Cut a small piece of foam padding & clip it onto trousers on a coat hanger & they don't fall off when being taken from one place to another in a suit cover, or have a clothes peg mark...

with small cardboard blades attached to the ends of the metal clip, and a sindle through the middle you could make a tiny wind turbine.

Just thought of another one, the smaller pegs that you can get are good for keeping wool ends together when you are knitting in stripes etc.
