I took my sailmakers palm,
a strong needle,
& some heavy duty thread

& restitched my wallet, a small fix I know but carp run of work so not had a lot of time to do much, but I can now see that after this amount of month there really isn't anything in it instead of pretending that it must have fallen through.

And it didn't have to go in the bin... Smile

I took an old mirror which had been ravaged by my kiddies and bad bead attachment.. Rolling Eyes and covered it with copper foil Very Happy

Dead chuffed with it, it's now hanging in my purple bathroom and looks dead posh... Very Happy

I'm assuming this thread is for non-work related repairs? That's my regular job. Most often it's operators' error that causes me to have lots of work.

I did intended it for non professional repairs really, silly little bits that were destined for the bin until given a new lease of life...

Today amongst other jobs I fixed a wooden framed "make up" mirror that Lady S wanted to bin as the wood was coming to pieces, using 4 nails...

Brilliant Mr_S, I am off to do that now! My lovely enamel one is shot, so back to the old cast iron, I love it but is a bit small.
