Feeling a bit left out, as we are not 'doing' Christmas this year, so I'm not making any cards either. Hope you don't mind, but here are some pics of some of my favourites over the years. I only ever make a single design each year. Often cards are stencilled using a home made stencil and a variety of techniques to apply the colour, sometimes hand printed, and sometimes a simple background with each being hand lettered - anything where I can produce 60-100 cards reasonably quickly. Hmm - having problems getting any more than two pics on.

If I click 'Host an image' after I have already uploaded one picture, the details of the last picture are still in the boxes, and I can't get rid of them. It doesn't take me back to the dialogue box where I can browse my files. Am I doing something wrong?

Freebird, these are the instructions I use. They are from Billy in another thread.

Nope, just click on the icon sixth from left above the reply text box which shows a floppy disc in front of a polaroid, if it is a picture you have on your computer, and follow instructions from there. Then copy the URL it gives you once your pic is uploaded and click on the next icon (of just a polaroid) and paste the URL in the box provided and bingo bango bongo your pic will appear

Today I cleaned out the card box & prepared for more card making, & then I remade an Advent calender with new pictures. Quite pleased with it.

Managed to have some energy today & made some cards. I actually used up some of the bits & pieces that were in the box & resist opening the last magazine I bought.

I'm feeling fairly chuffed this morning, over the silliest little thing. The electronic fob for my van keys had broken - the plastic loop that attached it to the key ring was no more. So I've just made a leather pouch from an offcut of leather off a pair of motorcycle trousers. Sewed it on the sewing machine - first time I've ever sewn leather, and was surprised how well it went. Then put the fob into the pouch, and felt where the buttons on the fob were, then used a pen to mark their position. Removed fob and cut out holes with a craft knife. Lastly, used a small wad punch to make to hole to attach the key ring to it. Hey presto, it's done.

Very lovely indeed.

I started to make a couple of net bags from some of my rawhide cut in very fine lengths. The Dene up in Canada I believe made 'hunting bags' or pouches and I believe it is called babiche. Fun making these things.

Actually managed to get the card box today & made some cards. Has anyone noticed how difficult it is to get bits to make cards for men?

Sorted the card box today & managed to make some. Most relaxing as OH was in the garden & I had no TV, radio or anything, just me & me together.

Managed to finally get the button holes and buttons done on a Clothkits dress that I'm making for LMC this afternoon. Also found some yarn that I didn't know I had and on an impulse started a granny square blanket (again!)

I have just started knitting again. Finger joints getting too stiff to play me flute properly, so a bit of extra exercise helps, knit

Made some cards from a couple of sheets when we were away. Also bought a mag the other day, not for the mag but for the papers & toppers which were the Me to You Bear & started to use them. Well pleased.

More festive cards today. Used up some bits that were left over, plus some gift tags that I bought from the £1 shop. They make really good cards & they are cheap as well. Tomorrow I hope to start with the new mag.

I'm just card making and knitting at the moment - I was given a couple of lovely pieces of walnut to carve and I will split them at some point, but spoon carving is a midwinter activity for me

Yesterday, my wife asked for me to build her a nice blocky bench for display on our front porch. After searching for my tape measure for an hour all over the house, garage, and greenhouse, I found it in my drill case from helping a friend build his decks around his new Branson, Missouri homestead. I love to work with wood. Finally starting and finishing a weathered looking bench with stained glass for a back to set on front porch then decorate with yes you guessed it Pumpkins. Happy Wife, Happy Life.

I had a nice quiet afternoon, guess what I did. I managed to get some very nice gift tags today, 96 for £1, so that will make a nice lot of cards. This was OHs reaction. facepalm laugh
